Drain Cleaning & Sewer Services

Our Team Is Ready To Help You

Valerio Emergency Plumbing handles clogged drains, main line backups, and sewer line repair for homes and businesses across Fairfield County. If a drain keeps clogging, the problem is usually in the line, not the drain. We find the cause instead of just clearing the symptom.

That starts with looking before we fix. With a sewer camera, we can see roots, cracks, or a collapsed section inside the pipe, then explain what we found and what it will cost before any work starts. Our licensed team is led by Master Plumber Abel Valerio and has served Fairfield County since 1989. We dispatch from Norwalk and are available 24/7 when a backup can’t wait.

What We Handle

Kitchen, Bathroom and Floor Drains

A clogged drain leaves water sitting in your sink, shower or floor drain. We clear the blockage and deal with slow drainage so the problem does not come straight back.

Main Line Clogs and Sewage Backups

When several drains stop working at once, or a toilet backs up into the tub, the main line is usually blocked. We clear main line clogs and get sewage backups under control.

Sewer Line Repair and Replacement

Tree roots, pipe damage and collapsed clay or cast iron lines all take a sewer line out of service. We repair sewer lines where the damage is limited and replace them when the line is past repair.

We have replaced collapsed sewer lines in Norwalk and a full water main line in Stamford; this is not work we send somewhere else.

Sewer Camera Inspection

A sewer camera inspection shows us what is happening inside the line: blockages, cracks, root intrusion or a sagging section. We look first, then explain what we found before recommending a repair.

Drain Cleanouts

A cleanout gives direct access to your drain line for clearing and maintenance. We install or replace cleanouts so future service is faster and less disruptive.

Sewage Ejector and Sump Pumps

A sewage ejector pump moves wastewater up from fixtures that sit below the main sewer line. We service and replace ejector pumps and sump pumps when they fail or stop keeping up.

How a Drain or Sewer Call Works

We start by checking the affected drains and the symptoms you are seeing. We clear the blockage or run a camera through the line, then show you exactly what we found inside the pipe. Before any work starts, we explain your repair options and the cost. You know what the work involves before you decide how to proceed.

When It’s an Emergency

Sewage backing up into your home, water you cannot shut off, or several drains failing at the same time are signs of a serious line problem. Stop using the affected fixtures and call us. For urgent situations, see our 24/7 emergency plumbing page.

Signs You Need a Sewer Line Inspection

  • Gurgling from drains or toilets usually means trapped air behind a blockage.
  • Several slow drains at once point to the main line, not the fixtures.
  • A sewage smell inside or outside the house is a drainage problem until proven otherwise.
  • Soggy or unusually green patches in the lawn over the pipe path can mean a leaking line.
  • Clogs that return soon after snaking mean the cause is still in the pipe.

Service Areas

We are based in Norwalk and serve Stamford, Wilton, Westport, New Canaan, Darien, Fairfield and nearby towns. We also handle general plumbing repairs.

Frequently Asked Questions

It depends on where the clog is and how we reach it. A single fixture drain is a short job. A main line clog, a line with no cleanout, or a blockage that needs a camera to find takes longer and costs more. We tell you the cost after we assess the problem and before any work starts, so there is no surprise on the invoice.

A drain that clogs repeatedly usually points to something deeper in the line: tree roots, grease buildup, or a sag in the pipe where waste collects. Snaking clears the symptom. A camera inspection finds the cause so it can be fixed once.

It is harmless and it can freshen a slow bathroom sink, but it does not clear a clog. The fizzing happens at the top of the drain, not where the blockage is. If you have tried it and the drain is still slow, the problem is further down the line.
